Today, I want to share some special thoughts about how love has guided us on this wonderful journey we have embarked on with KUMI Sneakers. It’s not just about the love between Sergio and me, Alexandra, but about the love for what we do and, above all, for incredible people like you, who are a fundamental part of our outstanding community.
A journey full of challenges
Just like any great adventure, the path to creating KUMI has not been easy. We have faced tough moments, but each challenge has been a stepping stone that has brought us to where we are today, and for that, we are profoundly grateful. Every step on this journey has been fueled by our passion for sustainability and quality.

There are milestones in our story that always bring a smile to our faces and remind us why we do what we do:

Launch of the Classic KS: In 2021, our crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter allowed us to bring our first model to life, marking the beginning of a new era in sustainable footwear.

Evolution to the Hygge/22: Thanks to all your feedback, we evolved our design, enhancing quality and comfort with the launch of the Hygge/22.

Traveling across Europe: We have had the pleasure of visiting cities such as Paris, Berlin, and Florence, spreading our message of sustainability and style to every corner.

Inspiring collaborations: Working alongside fashion designers, artists, and musicians has allowed us to expand our vision, and we are proud that even personalities like the President of the Balearic Islands wear our KUMI at official events.

Recognitions: It was an honor to receive the sustainability award from PEFC Spain during the Circular Sustainable Fashion Week in Madrid.

Expansion of the Hygge/22 family: We have added new models like Line and High Top while always maintaining our essence: vegan, sustainable, and artisanal.
